Merchandise Sellers and Supervisors

RAC Arena is looking for talented customer service superstars to join our Merchandise Team. 

Merchandise Seller

To carry out the sale of official event merchandise and to assist the Merchandise Supervisor in coordinating and reconciling stock for their outlet’s operational needs

• Excellent grooming and personal presentation
• Experience in cash handling and ability to perform sales with cash and EFT transactions
• Be a customer service superstar- can positively engage with patrons
• Previous experience in retail or similar is desirable.
• Work efficiently and have attention to detail

Merchandise Supervisor

To ensure the most efficient service possible is provided by all merchandise staff under your supervision

• Previous experience managing a team including managing performance, promotions, and training.
• Experience in cash handling and ability to perform sales with cash and EFT transactions
• Be a Customer Service Superstar! Can positively engage with patrons
• Set- up and pack down allocated outlet with merchandise stock, POS, promotional material, etc.

• Be supremely efficient and have attention to detail

Essential for the role

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate is essential
• Food Handler Certificate (SITXFSA001) essential
• COVID Hospitality & Tourism COVID-19 Hygiene Training
• National Police Clearance
• Proof of identity that meets the 100-point check

RAC Arena is WA’s home of live entertainment, music and sports. Since opening, our 15,000-seat venue has hosted many famous superstars, including Prince, The Killers, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, KISS, Celine Dion and Katy Perry.

RAC Arena has also given our sporting favourites an opportunity to thrive and excel. The venue has previously hosted the Hopman Cup with record attendance and stellar players, such as Roger Federer, and Serena and Venus Williams. The Perth Wildcats have scaled new heights on and off the court by regularly playing in front of more than 12,000 people, transforming the CBD into a sea of red during their home games.

Working in the venue and event industry means supporting the delivery of events across our event calendar. This means that weekend, evening, and public holiday work will be required. We have lodged this role on our own site as we are managing this project directly.
